The railing, with its subtle kinetic design, alone or combined with planters, offers transparency and privacy at the same time. The FSC wood of the EcoParklet
The wood used is of red pine (pinus sylvestris) from nearby forests sustainably managed and certified with the FSC ecological seal. This seal guarantees that the wood comes from properly managed forests, following strict international sustainability standards. Thanks to this responsible management, the forests regenerate stronger and healthier. Wood contributes to user comfort, both on cold days and on those of intense heat, due to its thermal virtues. At the end of the product's useful life wood is also reusable, recyclable and biodegradable.
Low maintenance
The wood used is subjected to an autoclave treatment (Risk Class 4) so that it can be in contact with the ground, fresh water and exposed to permanent humidification. Thus, no need to protect wood against insects or xylophagous fungi, It can be cleaned with water, even under pressure. In the case of graffiti, the wood can be polished on the surface until they are removed. The wooden tread surface has been tested in the laboratory to guarantee Class 3 "slipperiness", according to the UNE ENV 12633:2003 Standard. Metallic elements such as hinges, height adjusters and screws are protected against oxidation.

The EcoParklet has been designed to adapt to the needs of the restaurateur. Its modular and adjustable system allows the terrace to be adjusted minimizing its inclination with respect to that of the road. Both the platform and the access bridge from the sidewalk are made of the same material. This uniformity of materials conveys a visual sensation of spaciousness. The EcoParklet uses digital manufacturing for the construction of standard modules, which allow multiple configurations combining planters with a railing with a subtle kinetic design that offers transparency and privacy at the same time. In addition, the versatility of wood allows customized solutions for your adaptation in complex locations. The modular design of the EcoParklet allows for very fast installation so that the restorer can dispose of the space as soon as possible. In the event that over time and due to fortuitous causes it is necessary to repair one of the pieces, its replacement would be very simple, agile and inexpensive.
